The feature was first announced in mid-October as part of a slate of updates that included UI changes to make the platform easier to navigate,<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">There are currently 20 different animations that are customized to the genre of the video you\u2019re watching. If it\u2019s a video about cars or auto racing, YouTube\u2019s like button will briefly change to a spinning, smoking tire animation when clicked.
