In a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendo.co.jp\/ir\/pdf\/2025\/251105e.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">financial results briefing<\/a> on Wednesday, Nintendo said that \u201cgoing forward, we will shift our primary development focus to Nintendo Switch 2 and expand our business around this new platform.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">The Switch won\u2019t be retired immediately, but the wheels are now in motion, and we\u2019ll probably start seeing fewer games released for the older platform.
