If you\u2019ve ever wanted to make your own Wordle<\/em> puzzle to challenge (or annoy) your family and friends, The New York Times<\/em> has announced<\/a> an official tool that lets you do that.<\/p>\n

If you have an All Access or Games subscription, you can make a 4-7 letter puzzle with the NYT\u2019s<\/em> Wordle creation tool<\/a>. (You\u2019ll be able to add an optional clue if you want to give the people you share your puzzle a bit of help.) When you\u2019ve made the puzzle, you\u2019ll get a unique URL you can share with others, and they don\u2019t need to have a subscription to be able to play it.<\/p>\n

The creation tool is available in the NYT<\/em> Games mobile app and on mobile and desktop web. With the holidays coming up, I have a few ideas about themed puzzles I could make for my friends and family \u2014 but maybe I\u2019ll mine some of the hardest Wordle<\/em> words<\/a> for ideas on how to make things difficult for them instead.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
