{"id":339,"date":"2025-06-03T07:44:22","date_gmt":"2025-06-03T03:44:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.actutech.app\/tiktok-isnt-really-working-right-now\/"},"modified":"2025-06-03T07:44:22","modified_gmt":"2025-06-03T03:44:22","slug":"tiktok-isnt-really-working-right-now","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.actutech.app\/en\/tiktok-isnt-really-working-right-now\/","title":{"rendered":"TikTok isn\u2019t really working right now"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" data-caption=\"\" data-portal-copyright=\"\" data-has-syndication-rights=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/platform.theverge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/04\/STK051_VRG_Illo_N_Barclay_9_tiktok.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;crop=0,0,100,100\" \/><figcaption><\/figcaption><\/p><\/figure>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Just after 11PM ET, many people started reporting problems with TikTok, which isn\u2019t completely offline, but definitely has been dealing with some kind of outage. <a href=\"https:\/\/downdetector.com\/status\/tiktok\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Downdetector<\/a> listed 44,000 reports at our last check, and the issue isn\u2019t fixed yet.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Based on reports from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/TikTok\/comments\/1l21cl8\/anyone_else_experiencing_issues_right_now\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reddit<\/a>, Twitter, Bluesky, and looking at our own devices, at the moment, videos may continue to load in TikTok\u2019s mobile apps, but accessing other features like comments or switching between accounts isn\u2019t working reliably, leading some users to wonder if their accounts were banned.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Trying to pull up the TikTok website, or even its <a href=\"https:\/\/support.tiktok.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">support pages<\/a>, displays a message saying \u201cAn error occurred while processing your request\u201d along with a reference code.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\"> We haven\u2019t seen any update from TikTok about what may be causing the issue, and status pages for some of its service providers, like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.akamaistatus.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Akamai<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/ocistatus.oraclecloud.com\/#\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oracle<\/a>, aren\u2019t indicating any wider problems.
