Ledger has asked CryptoBillis to <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Ledger_Support\/status\/2108551100613714002\" target=\"_blank\">pause all sales<\/a> of its wallets while it conducts an investigation. Ledger has confirmed that \u00ab\u00a0one of the impacted users&rsquo; devices contained an unauthorized hardware implant.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Photos and videos <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/MagicalTux\/status\/2108576506704548179\" target=\"_blank\">posted on X<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.threads.com\/share\/FLflunlO0\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Threads<\/a> appear to show a <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/MagicalTux\/status\/2108574096636416402\" target=\"_blank\">small circuit board<\/a> sandwiched under the screen. The implant allegedly intercepts anything displayed on the screen, including the seed passphrase shown during the initial setup.
