Microsoft will let Gamescom attendees play a demo of the long-awaited\u00a0Hollow Knight: Silksong<\/em>\u00a0on the new\u00a0ROG Xbox Ally handhelds<\/a>. It\u2019s part of more than 20 titles that will be available<\/a> at the Xbox booth at Gamescom, including a new theater experience to demonstrate The Outer Worlds 2<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Silksong <\/em>will be available to play on the new Xbox Ally devices at Gamescom, just months after Xbox president Sarah Bond revealed in June<\/a> that Silksong<\/em> will be available \u201cat launch and in Game Pass\u201d when Asus\u2019 new handhelds launch later this year. <\/p>\n

Gamescom attendees will also get to try out Microsoft\u2019s new Xbox and Windows UI<\/a>, as well as play Roblox, Sea of Thieves, <\/em>and Tony Hawk\u2019s Pro Skater 3+4<\/em> on the new Xbox Ally handhelds. Grounded 2<\/em> will also be at Gamescom, as well as the first public hands-on of Ninja Gaiden 4<\/em>.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve been waiting three years to get a Silksong release date, after Microsoft originally said in 2022 that the sequel to the indie side-scrolling action platformer was coming within 12 months<\/a>. A playable demo at Gamescom sure makes it even more likely that Silksong<\/em> will debut later this year.<\/p>\n

Microsoft is also fully revealing Call of Duty: Black Ops 7<\/em> during Opening Night Live at Gamescom on August 19th, as well as promising \u201ca couple more surprises at the show from our partners too.\u201d<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
