One way to hit that target is by cutting costs, and one way of cutting costs is to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/gaming\/gamestop-reportedly-shuts-down-more-than-400-us-stores-210632743.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">close down a bunch of stores<\/a>. The company closed 590 stores in fiscal year 2024, and said in a recent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sec.gov\/ix?doc=\/Archives\/edgar\/data\/0001326380\/000132638025000098\/gme-20251101.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SEC filing<\/a> that it anticipates \u00ab\u00a0closing a significant number of additional stores in fiscal 2025.\u00a0\u00bb With the fiscal year set to end on January 31st, it appears the race is on, and according to a blog <a href=\"https:\/\/gsclosing.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tracking closures<\/a>, GameStop is planning on
