In <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/AGJamesUthmeier\/status\/2042258048115265541?s=20\" target=\"_blank\">a statement on Thursday<\/a>, Uthmeier says there are concerns that OpenAI&rsquo;s data and technology are \u00ab\u00a0falling into the hands of America&rsquo;s enemies, such as the Chinese Communist Party.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Uthmeier also says that OpenAI&rsquo;s ChatGPT has been \u00ab\u00a0linked to criminal behavior\u00a0\u00bb related to child sexual abuse material and the \u00ab\u00a0encouragement\u00a0\u00bb of self-harm. He adds that ChatGPT may have been used to \u00ab\u00a0assist\u00a0\u00bb the person suspected of carrying out a shooting at Florida State University in April 2025.
