The Nex Playground is the family-centric, Kinect-like game console that made one Verge<\/em> editor\u2019s kids laugh, cry, and ask for more playtime<\/a>, even when they were sick. The motion-based game play isn\u2019t perfect, but it has won over plenty of parents<\/a> \u2014 and it\u2019s on sale for $239 at Amazon<\/a>, down from its current MSRP of $299. That\u2019s a healthy discount, though only slightly better than the Nex\u2019s original $250 price.<\/p>\n
