Riot Games is already winding down work on 2XKO<\/em>, the free-to-play League of Legends<\/em> fighting game, less than a year after its initial launch. Riot says<\/a> \u00ab\u00a0active development\u00a0\u00bb will conclude at the end of 2026 because the company hasn’t \u00ab\u00a0seen enough players stick with the game to get to a path toward sustainability.\u00a0\u00bb Servers will stay online \u00ab\u00a0beyond 2026,\u00a0\u00bb and Riot is unlocking all playable characters and refunding money spent on the game. <\/p>\n

2XKO<\/em> launched in an early access beta on PC in October 2025 and hit PS5 and Xbox Series X \/ S in January<\/a>. But shortly after, Riot announced it would be cutting staff working on the game<\/a>, saying at the time t \u2026<\/p>\n
