Despite those growing demands, the Trump administration has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2026\/03\/10\/business\/energy-environment\/donald-trump-solar-energy-batteries.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sought to hobble<\/a> the wind and solar industries in favor of fossil fuels.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">America&rsquo;s energy landscape is already shifting as a result, according to the report published last week by the nonprofit Environmental Defense Fund and research firm Atlas Public Policy.
